Westpeak Support Services is committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children and young people. We have zero tolerance as an organisation for child abuse, neglect and harm.

We promote and uphold the voice of children and act on their concerns. We create safe environments for children and young people who experience diversity within their culture, their community, and their experiences. Westpeak Support Services ensures children who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander have access to culturally safe and inclusive services.

Our team are screened, trained and supported to uphold child safety in all aspects of their role. We assess and manage risks in physical and online environments and maintain a child-focused complaints process. Concerns are treated seriously and reported promptly to the appropriate authorities. Given the importance of child safety, wellbeing and inclusion, the guidelines and process associated with child safeguarding within Westpeak Support Services are reviewed regularly.
